After this photo the protest officially ended. At the same time, a lot of Car I Drive Aircooled Shirt. A large number of us decided to head over to Marconi Plaza. Thankfully it wasn’t as bad in the past, but a large “Welcoming committee” of about 50 guys showed us to tell us to go home. They were egging on everyone else to do something, and a few of them got arrested. And, of course, they wanted to attack us even when we left. So all-in-all, a good time had by none.

I’ve been protesting for the Car I Drive Aircooled Shirt. I was out on May 30th when the riots happened, I’ve been out protesting as much as possible ever since, and I’ve written about police reform and encouraged others to get involved, too. Keep protesting. We’re seeing police reforms in this city, including seeing Captain Lou getting reassigned, funding for the police reduced to go towards other programs, and the removal of the Rizzo statue. Maybe we’ll start creating programs we need to take the weight off cops, maybe we’ll finally get Delaware Avenue back. Keep fighting for what you believe in!
