So nice to find everyone else getting annoyed by this too.. maybe they’ll make some changes. POKEMON X MORTAL KOMBAT Shirt  is nearly unusable right now, every single time I switch to audio only I get the dumb Xbox/Bethesda commercial. Fuck ads.I don’t get ads, I get the purple screen. I’ve tried turning my adblocker off, but nothing changes and there’s no way I’ll uninstall it just to watch twitch. So every 10 minutes I have to sit through this purple screen with a 30 second timer which restarts like 5 times before finally getting back to the stream. Now I’ve almost completely stopped watching twitch and instead I’ll just watch the vods when they get uploaded to YouTube.Dude I thought it was just me, the ads are going crazy. You can have a short one when you start a stream, but I am getting three 30 second ads. Rather than staying I just leave and do something else. They should have ads like youtube which are much more tolerable.

I can’t even listen to audio only on my phone anymore. When ads come, I need to POKEMON X MORTAL KOMBAT Shirt out my phone, turn on video, watch the ad completely, and then turn it back on audio only mode and do it all again when the next ad comes up otherwise the stream stops completely. Fucking bullshit, definitely slowly turning me away.I switched from 90% twitch 10% YouTube now to like 70% YouTube because of this shit. . When I see 1 of 7 ads pop up I close the tab and stay on YouTube the rest of the night. I canceled my twitch subs because I just cant give this company my money anymore. Maybe if enough people stopped supporting twitch and their content creators they would change but getting that kind of grassroots effort off the ground is nearly impossible.
