The only sport I’ve consistently had an interest in was US professional football (NFL) The Ghoul Next Door Scarlett Crypt T shirt  I started watching with “the men” of the family before I was old enough to walk. The entire culture has become permeated with political posturing and grandstanding (on both sides of the political spectrum), “personality” players whose exploits on and off the field outshine the actual gameplay and their teammates, and a “fuck you buddy, I got mine” attitude among star players (players with hundreds of millions of dollars in player and endorsement contracts who concentrate so hard on protecting their knees/ankles/necks/paychecks that they forget to play to their full potential like their fans and teammates deserve).
